Attract Mode

While game session data is the primary challenge, the payoff is really in the attract mode. Games are idle most of the time, and as game developers learned in the 1970s and 1980s, a good leaderboard can draw in players of all types.

Leaderboards

Scorbit provides the ability to pull leaderboards not only for the local machine, but global rankings as well. Locally created "ScorbitVision" leaderboards are also available for display on the game screen.

Instructions and App Download

It's also always a good idea to include instructions to the player on how to use the Scorbit features. We have found including a QR code to download the app for Apple and Android has an immense impact on frequency of engagement.

Tournament Standings

Once a game is discovered, particularly for local tournaments, it's a good idea to show the results of the tournaments, weekly or monthly, either as leaderboards or specific event results.

Prizes and Promotions

Finally, for tournaments that have rolling or static cash jackpots, the attract mode is the place to draw attention to these dynamic prizes.
