Game Code Update

Stern Spike 2 and 3 machines often have new game code provided by the manufacturer. When you update your game's code, sometimes, but not always, the new game code renders the Scorbitron inactive and can disable Scorbit functionality.

When this happens, Scorbit will automatically update the code on the Scorbitron for you to match. However, if you have an older Scorbitrion v1 kit with Spike 2 (prior to 2025), you must do a manual game code update. When you tap the Game Code Update button, it will prompt you for the game code version you are using and the serial number of your game.

Please note: We strongly recommend not updating your game's code until you verify that Scorbit has released compatibility with the version you plan to install.
